    Yes, If you have a specific project or activity in mind that you want to find a buddy for, you can simply express your interest and HOBBYBUDDYSG will try to match you with someone who shares the same interest.
  • Are buddies qualified or certified to teach me?
    While not all of our buddies are certified, many of them have competed in their respective sports and engage in daily practice. They are highly qualified through their experience, passion, and knowledge. Our Buddies are eager to share their expertise and help you grow in your own journey.
  • Can I search for buddies based on skill level?
    Absolutely! At HOBBYBUDDYSG, you can search for buddies based on their skill level by browsing through their profiles. Each profile displays their achievements, experience, skillset, availability, and recommended locations to engage in the sport. Our platform ensures that each profile is unique and provides a comprehensive overview of the buddy's qualifications and expertise.
  • Can I switch to a different sport/ hobby category with a specific buddy?
    Yes, you can switch to a different sport or hobby category with a specific Buddy, subject to their comfort level and expertise. If the selected sport or hobby is beyond their range of guidance, we would recommend finding a buddy who is experienced and knowledgeable in that area. However, if our buddies are comfortable to explore a new sport with you, we are happy to facilitate this arrangement.
  • Can I see my buddy's profile information?
    Yes! You can view your preferred buddy's profile information by selecting their profile. At HOBBYBUDDYSG, we ensure that each and every one of our buddy's profile undergoes a thorough quality check. This enables our users to shortlist buddies based on their personal needs and preferences in a coach before deciding to pursue a sport with them.

    Yes, you can view reviews of buddies before choosing one to pursue your hobby with. Our platform allows users to leave reviews and for buddies they have engaged with, which can be helpful in making a decision.

  • How far in advance can I book a buddy?
    You can book a buddy as early as you want, as long as they are available during the time and date you want to schedule the session. However, we recommend booking in advance to ensure your preferred buddy is available.
  • Can I share a buddy with my friends?
    Yes, splitting of costs is allowed for users aged 15 and above. At HOBBYBUDDYSG, our goal is to make sports and hobbies more accessible and affordable to people from all walks of life.   • How do I communicate with my buddy?
    At HOBBYBUDDYSG, we facilitate communication between our users and buddies. We will assist you in scheduling your meetings and keep you informed about the details of the meetup with your buddy.
  • I can't find the buddy at the meeting point? What do I do?
    Not to worry, we will be here to assist you in finding your buddy and ensuring that your session goes smoothly, as we facilitate communication between our users and buddies.
  • I am going to be late. How do I inform the buddy?
    To inform the buddy, kindly reach out to us via the existing booking chat. However, if you are uncontactable 40 minutes into the booking, it will be deemed a no-show. There will be no refunds.
  • Do I need to provide my own equipment?
    While some of our buddies may have equipment to lend, we recommend being cautious when borrowing someone else's belongings. In the event that a buddy does not have the necessary equipment, they can offer suggestions on where to rent or purchase it. Please keep in mind that reimbursement may be required if any equipment is damaged or lost.
  • Do I need to book the venue for the sport?
    Booking is required for certain sports. However, our buddies can recommend suitable venues and provide guidance if you are trying out a new sport. Note that venue booking fees will be included in your payment if the booking is made by your buddy.
  • Can I choose which sport venue to use?
    Yes, you have the flexibility to choose the venue of your preference for the selected sport.
  • What if I can't make it to a scheduled meeting?
    Rescheduling is generally not allowed, as our buddies have set aside time specifically for the scheduled session. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds for cancelled sessions. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, such as inclement weather, that may require rescheduling. In such cases, we will then assist in arranging a new date and time that is suitable for you.
  • Can I cancel a scheduled meeting with my buddy?
    Certainly, you may cancel a scheduled meeting with your buddy. However, please keep in mind that there will be no refund for any cancelled sessions.
  • I want to cut short my session. Can I schedule another appointment for the remaining hours?
    Unfortunately, we do not offer rescheduling for active sessions or sessions that are ended prematurely by the user.
  • What if our session gets interrupted due to weather or other reasons?
    If a session is disrupted due to weather, we offer the option to reschedule at a mutually convenient time for you and your buddy. Alternatively, you may request a 50% refund. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in such situations.
  • What happens during a cancellation?
    In the event of a cancellation on our end, a full refund will be provided. Additionally, there will be a discount of 50% on your next booking with us.
  • What happens during a no show?
    In the event of a no show on our end, a full refund will be provided. Additionally, your next booking will be on us.
  • The buddy turned up late and I can't extend the session. Can I have another session?
    While we do not offer rescheduling for interrupted sessions, you are entitled to a 50% refund if the buddy is 20 minutes late, and a full refund if they're more than 30 minutes late.
  • Are there any fees for using HOBBYBUDDYSG?

    Please note that HOBBYBUDDYSG and our buddies are not liable for any injuries that may occur during the session. While our buddies are there to assist and support you in your new sport or accompany you for your sport session, we urge you to take necessary precautions to ensure your own safety and well-being.
  • How do I communicate with HOBBYBUDDYSG support if I have a problem?
